A toboggan according to the invention has two essentially rigid lateral frame components which can be held together with a desired spacing by means of plug-in spacing pipes (2) which can be clamped in guides (14) as desired. In addition to a cloth covering (5) which serves as a seat and is anchored along the upper edges of the frame components, a sliding film (9) is provided whose dimensions are sufficient to span the space between the runners (1a) on the undersides of the frame components and which has, along its side edges, devices (10b, 11b) for detachable anchoring to the lateral frame components. This toboggan can not only be easily collapsed after the spacing pipes have been released and removed but also because the spacing pipes can be clamped as desired, permits the tension of the applied sliding film to be varied. Because of the possibility of rapidly and easily removing and applying the sliding film and also of adjusting its tension as desired, because of the releasable spacing pipes which can be clamped as desired, the toboggan can be quickly adapted to all conditions in an optimum fashion.
