PURPOSE:To eliminate the counting error and prevent breakage of a separating- rod by supporting the paper-sheet not yet counted by one edge of an attracting plate so that the paper-sheet not yet counted is not suspended when said attracting plate attracts a paper-sheet and starts swing, and lowering the attracting plate when the separating rod advances. CONSTITUTION:The captioned apparatus is equipped with an attracting plate 1 which sticks to the undersurface of a paper-sheet group consisting of a number of paper-sheets piled and separates said paper-sheets one by one and a separating rod 2 which advances into between the paper-sheet attracted by the attracting plate 1 and the uppermost paper-sheet and turns-over one paper-sheet attracted, turning the attracting plate 1. In said paper-sheet counting machine, the side edge on this side of an attracting-plate operating mechanism 3 is tilted downward, having the side edge 1b on the inner side as center, after the attracting plate 1 attracts one paper-sheet, and then the attracting plate 1 is operated so as to be lowered. Further, in a separating-rod operating mechanism 18, the separating-rod 2 is inserted between the attracted paper-sheet and the uppermost paper-sheet so as to be positioned lower than the position of the undersurface of the piled paper-sheets when the attracting plate 1 is tilted. |
