PURPOSE:To obtain a semihard magnetic alloy having specified coercive force and superior seal bonding strength to soft glass by adding specified amounts of Si, Al and a rare earth element to an Fe alloy contg. specified percentages of Co, V and C. CONSTITUTION:To an alloy consisting of, by weight, 47-52% Co, 1-4% V, <=0.03% C and the balance essentially Fe and added 0.2-1% in total of Si and Al and 0.005-0.5% one or more kinds of rare earth elements or 0.001-0.1% in total of Mg and Ca. A semihard magnetic alloy having 20-40 Oe coercive force Hc and improved seal bonding strength to soft glass is obtd. |
