PURPOSE:To perform acceleration and braking through single pedal, by operating a brake lever in the direction to release braking force against a resilient member while interlocking with stepping of accelerator pedal. CONSTITUTION:Upon stepping of an accelerator pedal 30, a brake lever 70 interlocked with the accelerator pedal 30 through a coupling member 76 will rotate against a spring 72 to release braking force of a brake system 26. At the same time a wire 34 coupled to the accelerator pedal 30 is stretched to rotate a regulating board 38 around a pin 40 thus to rotate an arm 46 around a pin 48 and to increase rotation of engine 28. Upon resetting of the accelerator pedal 30 to pre-step position, rotation of engine 28 will drop to move the brake lever 70 in braking direction through the spring 72 thus to enlarge a brake shoe 62 and to perform braking. |
