PURPOSE:To eliminate failure in caulking and to improve efficiency of a caulking machine by blowing caps by each piece with fluid and feeding the cap into the caulking position in a catcher for cap thereby supplying surely the cap. CONSTITUTION:A cap 11 is transferred to the stroke position under an air blow 6 and air from an air blow 6 is blown to the gap between the contact surfaces thereof with the tip of an escapement plate 4. The cap 11 is blown in the passage 23 of a chute 3 toward a catcher 12 for cap and is fed into a caulking position. When the cap 11 is held in the caulking position, the operation of an air cylinder 5 for escapement stops and the escapement plate 4 returns to the home position upon retreating of a piston rod, then one cycle is completed. |
