PURPOSE:To improve the performance of control of a pipeline, by starting a succeeding store instruction during the processing of a preceding instruction. CONSTITUTION:When a store instruction is issued, the processing for the store instruction is started without waiting till the end of the processing for the preceding instruction. Data held in a register 22 is set as store data to a register 14. This data is transferred to registers 25 and 23 at one-cycle pitches. If a destination register of the instruction before the preceding instruction and a source register of the store instruction coincide with each other, a selector 24 sets the operation result of the instruction before the preceding instruction to the register 25 instead of old store data. If a destination register of the preceding instruction and the source register of the store instruction coincide with each other, a selector 26 sets the operation result of the preceding instruction on a signal line 104 to the register 23 instead of old store data. |
