<p>PURPOSE:To attain the large capacity of storage of information economically without interrupting processing operation by providing a medium storage section having plural stages of storage shelves which arrange plural recording media stored in parallel in a flat protecting case and stores them. CONSTITUTION:The medium storage section 2 has upper and lower two stages of storage shelves which arrange in parallel and store optical discs almost vertically stored in a flat protective case 4. Further, a medium exchange section 6 is provided in front of the medium storage section 2, this medium exchange section 6 extracts an optional caddy 4 from the medium storage section 2 and inserts it to an information recording and reproducing section for attaining exchange of the medium. By this constitution, a large quantity of information is stored economically without interrupting processing operation.</p> |
