PURPOSE:To perform liquid phase joining having high heat resistance and strength in a joint part by forming a boride layer on the surface in the joint part of an Ni base heat resistant alloy contg. a specific amt. of Cr, Fe, Co as well as Ti, Al then heating the same under press-contact. CONSTITUTION:The surface in the joint part of one or both of materials to be joined is subjected to a boriding treatment to form a boride layer having 0.005- 0.15mm. depth in the stage of performing liquid phase joining of an Ni base heat resistant alloy contg. 8-35wt% Cr, 0.1-40% >=1 kinds of Fe and Co, 0.1-15% >=1 kinds to Ti and Al, etc. The joining members are heated to 1,050-1,280 deg.C under press-contact with each other and are thus subjected to liquid phase joining in a non-oxidizing atmosphere of a vacuum, inert gas, etc. The joint part having high strength is obtd. by the above-mentioned method without using a brazing filler metal of powder or quickly cooled foil. |
