PURPOSE:To secure the sequential property of a read-out data, and to hold the feature of the high throughput of a high speed storage part by mixing a high speed storage part and a low speed storage part on the same storage hierarchy and the same port, and providing a synchronizing buffer for absorbing the difference of the access time of two kinds of storage parts. CONSTITUTION:A read-out data bus from each BK has two lines of a high speed storage part bus 208 and a low speed storage part bus 209, and the high speed storage part bus 208 is connected to a buffer 210 used for synchronizing with a read-out data from a low speed storage part 213. An output of the buffer 210 is merged with the read-out data from the low speed storage part 213, in a read- out data merging part 211, and it is sent as a read-out data to a main storage device SCU. As shown clearly in the figure (a), a main storage device mixing the high speed and low speed storage parts can be realized without reducing the throughput of a high speed storage part 212 to one read-out operation/eight machine cycle from one read-out operation/six machine cycle, by providing a synchronizing buffer. |
