A method of manufacturing a hub for a spoke-wheel wherein two parts are produced separately by injection moulding a plastics material and joined together so that the hub is given a central tubular portion with a respective flange at each end thereof to cooperate with spokes, each of the two hub parts forming a part of the central tubular portion and a respective one of the flanges, characterised by axially fixing the two parts of the hub together with an insert positioned between the two parts of the central tubular portion in order to adjust the axial length of the hub.
