PURPOSE:To obtain a flat cell with a stable internal resistance value and easy to produce by sticking a fixed quantity of at least one electrode active material directly to the container inside. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a seal plate (negative electrode container) 1 is coated with conductive paint 7 made of polyester series binder and tin antimony series conductive powder, negative electrode active material powder 2 mainly made of zinc amalgam is filled on it, the seal plate is reversed and is applied with vibrations, etc. to remove excessive negative electrode active material powder, and a uniform active material layer with a single phase is formed. Furthermore, the inside of a positive electrode case 4 is coated with conductive paint made by adding silver oxide powder, which is an active material, into a phenol resin solution and allowing graphite, carbon, etc. to be uniformly dispersed, then it is heated and hardened to form a uniform active material layer 5'. A silver oxide cell is produced in a normal method hereafter. Accordingly, a stable flat cell with a small internal resistance value can be obtained and its production process can be simplified. |
