CONSTITUTION:Polyethylene with a thickness of 1.0mm. is used as a resin film 1, a lead alloy sheet 2 with a thickness of 0.2mm. made of 0.1% calcium, 0.5% tin, 0.02% aluminum, and lead for the rest is stuck to it with anaerobic adhesive, it is machined to form a substrate 3 with a thickness of 1.0mm., a width of 110mm., a height of 120mm., and weight of 25gr/sheet, negative electrode paste is filled to obtain a non-formed electrode plate, and an electrical current of 160% of a theoretical active material is applied for chemical conversion. A positive electrode plate with a thickness of 2.0mm., a width of 110mm., and a height of 720mm. made by machining a lead alloy sheet with the same alloy composition as mentioned above is used as an opposite electrode, and in addition, two sheets of the said negative electrode plate and two separators are used to produce a unit cell battery A. Accordingly, the substrate weight and the weight of the lead storage battery in its turn can be reduced. |
