PURPOSE:To perform the prevention of an erroneous erasion without waste by recording an erasion preventing signal in one part of a recording medium, and also to detect a part in which an unnecessary information is recorded in a short time by controlling an operation mode of a device, too, by said erasion preventing signal. CONSTITUTION:When an erroneous erasion preventing signal is recorded, a switch 5 is connected to an A side terminal by an operation of an operating part 2. Accordingly, in this case, no output is obtained from a (b) side terminal of the switch 5, and an output of a switching signal generating circuit 8 becomes a low level. In this case, both a switch 11 and a switch 16 are in an on-state, a video signal is recorded by heads 13, 14 through the switch 11, and an erasing signal obtained by an erasing oscillator 15 is supplied to rotary erasing heads 17, 18 preceding to its heads 13, 14. A pulse signal being an erroneous erasion preventing signal obtained by a pulse signal generator 1 is supplied to a switch 3. |
