This folding frame for spectacles comprises a bridge formed by two projections 20 arranged in direct mutual frontal contact in the use position and connected together by a hinge 30, the hinge being formed by two small fixing plates 36 fixed to the internal surfaces of the two projections and by a connecting bar 32 which is hinged to the opposite ends of the small fixing plates. The sides of the frame each comprise two hinged parts 46, 48 fitted with ratcheting (snap-fastening) stop means intended to keep the side in the deployed use position. <IMAGE>
