PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer device which is low in its cost, also high in its accuracy, is constituted easily and assembled easily by generating a magnetism of the same pole as a cam surface in one end of an electromagnet placed at a position opposed to the cam surface immediately before a rotation of a cam, and generating a magnetism of a different pole from the cam surface in one end of an electromagnet placed at a position opposed to the cam surface immediately after a rotation of the cam, in a floppy disk, etc. CONSTITUTION:In case of feeding a magnetic head 13 to a prescribed track, first of all, a winding of an electromagnet 17 is conducted so that the N pole is formed on the tip 17a of a cam side of the electromagnet 17. Both a cam surface 12a and the electromagnet tip 17a become the N pole, therefore, they repel each other, generate a repulsion, and a head carriage 14 moves until a stopper 14a contacts by pressing to a cam inside wall 12b. Subsequently, a cam 12 is rotated by a desired angle by sending a step signal to a stepping motor 11. Also, a current is made to flow to the electromagnet 17 in the direction opposite to the previous time, and the S pole is generated in the electromagnet tip 17a. The electromagnet 17 moves until its tip 17a contacts by pressing to the cam surface 12a, and the magnetic head 13 is fed to a prescribed track. In this case, there is no wear at all on the cam surface 12a and the electromagnet tip 17a, and a long life is realized. |
