PURPOSE:To feed a material to a pressing machine under the optimum conditions by setting only a feeding pitch, thereby automatically bringing the line average speed and the feeding speed of the leveler into coincidence. CONSTITUTION:The feeding speed of a leveler is set to the optimum value by controlling the rotating speed of a leveler motor 14 by an eddy current joint 12 with an output obtained by multiplying the set value of a setter 6 by the speed voltage of a pressing machine by a multiplier 8. The feeding pitch can be varied merely by varying the set value of a digital switch 6, and the speed of the machine can be automatically altered merely by inputting to the multiplier 8. Accordingly, it is not necessary to regulate, but the feeding speed of the leveler can be automatically varied. |
