PURPOSE:The titled cosmetic, containing a mucopolysaccharide and a soluble elastin, capable of remarkably enhancing the cellular activating action and humectant property of the skin, and having a suppling effect on the hair. CONSTITUTION:A skin and hair cosmetic containing 0.1-10.0wt% mucopolysaccharide, preferably a mucopolysaccharide obtained by decompsoing a navel cord or cock's crest, etc. with an enzyme, and extracting the resultant decomposition product, and 0.1-10.0wt% soluble elastin in a cosmetic base. The incorporation of 0.1-10.0wt% each of placental extract and/or decomposed collagen (obtained by decomposing an insoluble collagen with an enzyme protease) provides more enhanced cellular activating action, humectant property of the skin and suppleness of the hair. |
