PURPOSE:To reduce the load on an operator in homonym selection by generating the signal of a next-candidate request an specific intervals of time and stopping this operation with a determination key. CONSTITUTION:When the operator inputs a KANA (Japanese syllabary) sentence on a keyboard 1, this input character string is sent to a KANA-KANJI (Chinese character) conversion processing part 5 through an input processing part 2 and one of character strings converted into KANJI is displayed on an output display part 7 through an output processing part 6. If this is not the word that the operator requires, the operator depresses a next candidate key and the processing part 2 senses that signal to send said signal to a signal generation part 3. Consequently, the generation part 5 sends a signal to a signal conversion part 4 at specific intervals of time. The conversion part 3 sends the signal of the next- candidate request to the processing part 5 in response to the signal sent from the generation part 3. The processing part 5 sends a next candidate to a processing part 6 by the signal. This step is repeated until the determination key is depressed and the display changes successively. When the determination key is depressed, the candidate displayed at the point is determined. |
