<p>Electrically powered tooth cleaning apparatus having a drive part and a handle (1) provided with a drive motor and, optionally, a switch (40). On its extension, there is arranged a removable brush portion (2). The brush portion (2) is removed by depressing the pressure area (35.2) of the deformation portion (35.1). The brush portion (2) carries at its bent head (6) a hollow brush (3) of which the bristles are arranged on the front part on a bristle carrier rotating about its axis.
