An apparatus for producing a laminate from webs to be adhesively bonded to one another of a flexible decorative material and a likewise flexible base material is described, which apparatus has a run-through press with rolls, at least some of which are heated, as well as a winding-up unit arranged downstream of the run-through press. The run-through press in this case comprises a plurality of rolls, at least some of which are mounted offset with respect to one another in the running direction of the material webs and in height, and between in each case two pressing nips, exerting linear pressure on the material webs, there is situated a heating region formed by a partial circumferential surface of a roll. The downstream winding-up unit at the same time forms a tensioning unit for the laminate web.
