发明名称 RECORDING PAPER SENSITIVE TO ELECTRIC FIELD AND RECORDING METHOD THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device by laminating a layer of a material of which the coloring condition changes sensitively with an electric field and a transparent dielectric layer on low resistant base paper thereby making an electric charge pattern visible without toner development, thermal fixing or pressure fixing. CONSTITUTION:When a high-voltage pulse of about >=500V discharge starting voltage (crest value E) is impressed on a recording electrode 5, an electrostatic latent image, i.e., an electric charge pattern, is formed on a dielectric layer 2. A coloring layer 3 sensitive with the electric field disposed on low resistant base paper 4 colors sensitivity with the electric field generated by said charge pattern and forms a visible image. A coloring body of, for example, spiropirane is used as a material forming the layer 3. The fine powder of the semiconductor substrate (for example, ZnO) adsorbing said compd. forms photochemically a color by UV light and the colored image thereof is extinct with time but if an electric field exists, the life of the image is longer. If therefore the UV light is uniformly exposed after formation of the electric charge pattern as shown in the figure, the entire surface forms a color but the color is quickly annihilated in parts except the charge pattern. The charge pattern is thus made to the visible image without toner development, thermal fixing, etc. as mentioned above.
