The melting conductor (2) is in series with the conductor between blade cartridge contacts, and pref. is of short extent in the longitudinal direction of the cartridge. Inside the melting conductor is a connecting and protection plate (3) with a female part for connection to a current rail (7) male part. When these two parts are connected, the rail conducts current from the right contact (1) to the left via the melting conductor (2). Adjacent to the protective plate is a temp. measurement indicator (5), and around the current rail are several measurement coils (6). One of these coils can be arranged to provide inductively current corresp. to that flowing through the current rail. A second measurement coil can be provided to measure the active, reactive and apparent effects, and a third can be formed as a transformer to measure voltage between the blade cartridge contacts contacts. Both the measurement indicator for temp. and the measurement coils have their conductors extending to a pin plug (8). Light diodes (11) can be incorporated to indicate fuse break, current take-off up to a specific extent, whether temp. is normal or too high, and the cos fi at different intervals. |
