PURPOSE:To constitute a liquid crystal panel which has no vertically conducting parts and to reduce the cost of production by using a flexible material as a substrate, forming opposed electrode patterns on the same plane and folding the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A flexible plastic resin or film is used as a substrate 1, and opposed electrode patterns are formed on the same plane. Electrode patterns on a terminal side are drawn out in a terminal part and also the electrode patterns of the substrate facing each other through a liquid crystal layer are drawn out. Such substrate 1 is folded at a bending part 5, whereby a liquid crystal panel having no vertically conducting parts is constituted. The stage for printing, drying etc. of a vertically conducting material is thus eliminated and the cost of production is reduced. |
