The invention relates to an air outlet for ventilating and air-conditioning installations which are operated as a dry system and have no fluid-conducting pipes in the region of use and in which, in the region of the air outlet, a greater or lesser quantity of room air is added by induction as secondary air to the primary air flowing in from an air-preparation arrangement. In a housing-like box 2, a calming chamber 5 is formed, which is connected to an incoming-air pipe 3. Formed in the chamber inner wall 6 of the calming chamber 5 are openings 7, via which the calming chamber 5 is connected to an induction chamber 8. The induction chamber 8 has a room-air inlet opening 9 and an incoming-air opening 10. These are arranged on outer wall sections 11, 12 of the housing-like box 2, which are at a distance from the openings 7. Formed between the room-air inlet opening 9 and the incoming-air opening 10 are flow guide arrangements 13, 14 (Fig. 1).
