PURPOSE:To enable accurate measurement of elapse time in supply of power by arranging a highly accurate unit time generator section using a time counting circuit and a non-volatile memory. CONSTITUTION:A unit time generator section 1 sends a unit time pulse 10 to a counter 2 at each unit time. The counter 2 counts the unit time pulse fed and provides the results of the counting to a display section 6 as time data 20. The display section 6 indicates an elapse time continuously based on the time data 20 fed. When the power source is cut off, a power source monitoring signal generating section 4 detects it to hold the power source for a fixed time while generating a writing signal 40 to a non-volatile memory 5. When the power source is closed again, the power source monitoring signal generating section 4 detects it and provides a time setting signal 60 to the counter 2. In response to the time setting signal 60 fed, the counter 2 reads the time data 30 sent from the non- volatile memory 5. |
