A device with at least one channel or groove for feeding small machine elements from an unordered heap to a work station which inserts the element into equipment which is to be fitted with it, is to make it possible to guarantee the reliable feed of small and very small, preferably elongated, machine elements even when the latter can only be separated from the unordered heap with difficulty. To this end, a plate (40) or the like containing the channel(s) (41) is provided projecting into a cylindrical hollow element (16) which is rotatable in relation to the plate and, at the other end, the channel is connected to a tubular discharging element (47). It has been found to be advantageous in this case to arrange a channel-like guide (46) with a lateral blowing-in aperture between the channel (41) and the discharging element formed by a flexible tube (48), and to connect this guide (46) to a source of blowing air (62). <IMAGE>
