PURPOSE:To rapidly obtain collected and totalized data by storing use value information, such as a number of copies sorted into each use division at the terminal of each copying machine, enabling mutual communication between the central controller and the controller of each copying machine, of the machine groups at any time, and shortening times for collecting accumulated stored data. CONSTITUTION:The terminals 5, 6, 7, 8 attached to copying machines 1, 2, 3, 4 are connected to a central controller through communication lines 10 by the multidrop system, and replies to an instruction signal contained in transmitting data from the controller 9 only when the polling address contained in said transmitting data coincides with a specified independent address of each terminal 5-8, and executes transmission of the data, etc. The controller 9 is directly connected with each terminal 5-8 directly without using communication lines 10, and transmits the polling address, and by these means it can communicate separately with each terminal, too. Data modulation for transmitting the data uses the PZ system through DC transmission for sending them, but uses differential detection system for receiving them. The application of this system facilitates centralization of control, and automatical collection and totalization of copying value data. |
