Extraction hood with edge extraction and built-in radiant heat absorbers which utilise the radiant exhaust heat to heat up the water and simultaneously absorb the air heat by means of additionally mounted lamella. The installation of an air filter further permits the utilisation of the residual waste heat by connecting an air/air heat exchanger downstream.
