PURPOSE:To read a through hole mark accurately and efficiently by releasing one of the X-axis and Y-axis brakes of a read head when the other is applied by switch operation. CONSTITUTION:The center of an index is aligned to the through hole mark in a printed board circuit diagram and a data-in switch 20 is pressed to read the through hole mark. Then, the switch is operated to read through marks successively. Then, the X-axis brake and Y-axis brake which fix the read head 12 so that its movement along the X-coordinate and Y-coordinate axes can be released are provided. These X-axis and Y-axis brakes operate alternately every time the switch 20 is pressed so that while one operates, the other is released. Therefore, the index 2 is aligned to the through marks easily. |
