PURPOSE:To prevent the rupture of recording paper without deteriorating responsiveness by comparing the max. value and min. value of an input signal with stored values, updating the stored values, and resetting the stored values according to the prescribed movement of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Memories M0-M2 which store respectively the max. value and min. value in an input signal are provided in the case of impressing the input signal to a servocontrol circuit SV and performing recording according to the magnitude thereof. The stored max. value and min. value are compared with the input signal and when the magnitude of the input signal exceeds the range of the stored value, the stored value is rewritten to the value of the input signal and the revised value is impressed to the circuit SV. The stored values of the memories are reset with the time required for moving the recording paper by the length corresponding to the recording paper width in the time axis direction as a period, and the values of the input signals at said time are stored as the initial values of the max. value and the min. value. |
