PURPOSE:To perform radio range finding with high accuracy by adding coarsely and finely measured values obtd. by changing over the modulation frequencies of a transmission wave. CONSTITUTION:A frequency modulation change-over circuit 20 is controlled with a microcomputer 33, by which the modulation frequency of a transmission wave is changed over automatically to a frequency for coarse range finding and a frequency for fine range finding. The coarsely measured value and finely measured value having high resolving power by a time difference measuring device in accordance with the reception of the transmission wave modulated at different modulation frequencies and reflected from a target are added by a data coupler 32, and the distance up to the target is displayed on a distance display device 23. The radio range finding with high accuracy is accomplished by such a constitution. |
