PURPOSE:To improve mixture of fuel with an oxidizing agent and to stabilize flame, by a method wherein sprayed fuel and the oxidizing agent are forced into contact with each other for mixture within the swirl flow of either of the fuel and the agent. CONSTITUTION:The arbitrary number of nozzles 5 for combustion are formed in the peripheral part of the base surface of a combustion chamber 3, and each of nozzles 7 for an oxidizing agent is located in the direction of a tangent line on the inner peripheral surface of a combustion chamber in the vicinity of a nozzle for fuel. Fuel 11, for example, Co, is injected upward in a combustion chamber 3 through a feed passage 6 and the nozzles 5 for combustion and is injected upward in a combustion chamber 3 through the nozzles 5 and is sprayed fuel is surrounded with a sprayed oxidizing agent which is injected through the nozzle 7 after passing through a feed passage 9 for an oxidizing agent 12, for example, N2O, and an annular chamber 10 and swirls. Such sprayed fuel is sufficiently mixed as it makes contact with the sprayed oxidizing agent within the swirl flow of the agent for a long time, and thereby such combustion mixture is easily ignited by an electrode 4 for ignition and is completely burnt. |
