PURPOSE:To obtain a timepiece having high accuracy and requiring no exchange of battery, etc. by driving an electric power generator which is feedback braked via an electronic circuit used with accumulated mechanical energy. CONSTITUTION:An electric power generator 8 is driven via a wheel train 7 by the mechanical energy accumulated in an automatic winding barrel drum 6 and the generated output is supplied through a rectifier circuit 9 to an electronic circuit 10 for watch including a quartz oscillating circuit. The braking of the generator 8 is feedback controlled via a control circuit 11 and the circuit 9 in accordance with the output of the quartz oscillating circuit and the circuit 10 is driven by the stable electric energy through the circuit 9. The timepiece which has high accuracy and is usable semipermanently without the need for exchanging a battery etc. is obtd. by such constitution. |
