PURPOSE:To prevent a noise impulse from a telephone line from being mis-detected as a call signal by adopting the constitution that the 1st and the 2nd signals are discriminated as the call signal when the 2nd signal is detected within a prescribed time after the 1st signal from the telephone line is detected in a facsimile device. CONSTITUTION:The device is started when a detected signal CI is restored to high level after being at low level once, and when the detected signal CI goes to low level within a prescribed time (15sec in this case) after the interruption of detection of the detected signal for one second, it is decided as the call signal, a relay CML is turned on to the transmission and receiving side for starting the receiving operation. By this method, a control signal of the relay CML is brought into high level at the 2nd trailing of the detected signal CI as shown in Fig. (d). That is, when the call signal is incoming, since the detection interrupting time for 1sec exists after the end of the 1st call signal, the effect of the noise impulse generated in most case just after the end of the call signal is excluded and the response just after the end of the 1st call signal is prevented. |
