<p>PURPOSE:To extend the range to be collected at a terminal station utilizing partially without increasing transmission power by relaying a data from a data collecting platform by a mobile satellite at a low altitude and transmitting the data to the terminal station utilizing partially via a stationary satellite. CONSTITUTION:The data observed by the data collecting platform 1 is transmitted to a mobile satellite 2 at about 800km of altitude. The data is transmitted to the terminal station 3 utilizing partially via the stationary satellite 4 at about 36,000km of altitude from the mobile satellite 2. Then, the range collected by the terminal station 3 utilizing partially is extended from a circle having about 3,000km in diameter to a band having a size of about 3,000kmX 9,000km i.e., about 4 times. Further, an antenna of the terminal station 3 utilizing partially is fixed toward the stationary satellite 4.</p> |
