PURPOSE:To simply and rapidly collate a transfer number with a recording number prior to painting, by a method wherein the release paper of a transfer sheet is peeled off in a check line to adhere the sticky paper thereof to the car body number part of a car body and subsequently pressed to transfer the car body number to the pressure sensitive paper thereof while the sticky paper is peeled off from the car body. CONSTITUTION:In preliminarily recording the car body number stamped to a car body in a production line to collate the car body number of the car body with a recorded car body number in a check line after painting, the release paper 2 of a transfer sheet 1 comprising a laminate consisting of the release paper 2, stickly paper 3, pressure sensitive paper 4 and a transparent protective film 5 is peeled off to adhere the sticky paper 3 to the part of the stamped number A of the car body 6 and the adhered sheet is pressed by a press roller 7 to transfer the stamped number A to the pressure sensitive paper 4. Because the pressed part is changed to black and the non-pressed part by stamping is left in the original white state, the white transfer number C is embossed through the transparent protective film 5. This sheet 1 is peeled off from the car body 6 and adhered to a base book to collate the previous recorded number B with this transfer number C. |
