PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus for detecting ink liquid pressure or an ink residual amount in high sensitivity with good accuracy in a state almost free from measuring pressure, constituted so as to detect the deformation or the displacement amount of a flexible membrane forming a part of an ink supply passage by a magnetic material and a magnetism sensitive element. CONSTITUTION:The ink in an ink chamber 23 is hermetically sealed by a flexible membrane 30 while an arm 33 is attached to the rotary support shaft provided to the upper part of a regulator frame 31 in a freely rotatable manner to be connected to the liquid detecting part 30A of the flexible membrane 30. A magnetic material 34 such as a magnet is fixed to the leading end of the arm 33 and a magnetism sensitive element 40 such as a hole element is fixedly provided in the vicinity of said magnetic material 34. When the hole element is used as the element 40, the linearity of hole voltage and magnetic flux density is good and detection can be performed with high accuracy. |
