PURPOSE:To obtain constant printing quality regardless of the numbers of drive wires, by detecting the numbers of wires driven with respect to one character by a judge circuit while generating a control signal for making impact pressure constant from a driving control circuit. CONSTITUTION:The numbers of wires driven at every character to be printed are judged by a judge circuit 16 and a short signal is generated from a timing generating circuit 17 when the numbers of dots are few while a long signal is generated therefrom when the number of dots are many. When gate circuits 13a,...13n are AND circuits, output is performed to driver circuits 14a,...14n from the gate circuits 13a,...13n only over the time equal to the length of the signal from the timing generating circuit 17 and the coils 15a,...15n of a solenoid are excited only over said time. |
