PURPOSE:To enable a call charge to be informed to a caller by a telephone set used for the call by informing acoustically the call charge to the caller by the indication of the caller when a call is finished in a telephone exchange. CONSTITUTION:A central controller 8 starts the calculation of charging and transmits a call charge to a storage device 9 at each unit time. When the caller hooks on once a handset for the end of the call, the central controller 8 detects it via a scanner 6, stops charging and also stops the transfer of charge to the storage device 9. When the caller A1 hooks off again the handset after a prescribed time, the central controller 8 detects it via the scanner 6, the charging for the finished call's share just now of the caller A1 is read from the storage device, converted into voice at a voice synthesis output device 5 and the voice is informed to the caller A1 via a channel switch 2. |
