PURPOSE:To provide heat sensitive recording type release paper high in image reliability and reduced in background fog, obtained by providing a heat sensitive color forming layer containing a leuco dye, a specific developer and a specific sensitizer and a protective layer on a support while laminating an adhesive layer and release base paper to the back surface of said support. CONSTITUTION:A heat sensitive color forming layer containing a leuco dye [e.g., 3-N-(p-tolylamino)-7-anilinofluorane], pref. 3-4pts.wt. per 1pts.wt. of the leuco dye of 4-hydroxy-4'-chlorodiphenylsulfone as a developer and pref. 1-2pts.wt. per 1pts.wt. of the leuco dye of N-octadecyl (4-methoxycarbonyl) benzamide as a sensitizer is provided on a support and a water soluble polymer (e.g., PVA) protective layer is provided thereon while an adhesive layer and release base paper are laminated to the back surface of the support to obtain objective heat sensitive recording type release paper. |
