PURPOSE:To stabilize the working of a time division channel device by applying an additional bit having a fixed pattern to the series data of the fault information displaying the fault of a highway, and detecting the fault generated at the common part of a time division connector device by the time division channel device. CONSTITUTION:The faults of highways 4 and 5 connected to a time division connector device 1 are detected by fault detecting circuits 10 and 11 respectively and supplied to a multiplexer 120 at a fault information transmitting part 12. Logic 1 and 0 are applied to the multiplexer 120 from a power supply 13 via signal lines 121 and 122. Then the multiplexer 120 multiplexes the additional MT bits 8 and 9 having fixed patterns to the series data of fault display bits 6 and 7 which are detected by the circuits 10 and 11. The multiplexed data is applied to a fault information editing part 20 of a time division channel device 2 via a fault information line 3. Thus the working of the device 2 is stabilized. |
