PURPOSE:To prevent engine stall in deceleration operation with high load by increasing the opening degree of a control valve when a throttle valve is perfectly closed within a prescribed time after engine deceleration, in electronic control for the captioned valve. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor 46 for the supercharger of an engine equipped with supercharger and a linear solenoid type idle speed control valve 50 for opening and closing a passage 48 which by-passes a throttle valve 32 are electronically controlled, the engine load is detected and compared with a set value, and when the load is equal to the set value or less, the time lapse is measured from the time when the value below the set value is obtained, and when the engine load is over the prescribed value, the conduction of driving current for the valve 50 is suspended, and the valve 50 is perfectly closed. When the valve 32 is perfectly closed within a prescribed time with the engine load below the set value, a driving current with a large duty ratio is introduced into the valve 50, and the opening degree of the valve 50 is kept large. |
