摘要 <p>According to the invention, during the welding of the buffer layer, the axis of the welding electrode runs at an angle with respect to the plane of the abutting surfaces of the components, and the sides of the melted down weld beads of the buffer layer overlap. This alters the course of the solidification front and produces a different alignment of crystals or grains, as compared with conventional welding in which the axis of the electrode is usually approximately at right angles with respect to the plane of the abutting surfaces. The axis of the electrode preferably runs at an angle with reference to two reference planes which are at right angles to each other and passing through the axis of the component, one of the said reference planes passing through the weld point. Thus the tracking angle in relation to the reference plane passing through the weld point may be between 15 and 35.degree., while the other tracking angle may be between 15 and 50.degree..</p>
