PURPOSE:To lead low pressure oil into a mechanical seal holding chamber and thereby aim at a distinct improvement in seal properties, by installing an interconnecting hole, which links a suction chamber with the mechanical seal holding chamber, in a housing and also installing a shaft seal in a part which pivotally supports a rotation shaft of a side plate at the front side. CONSTITUTION:A housing 8 is provided with an interconnecting hole 17 linking a mechanical seal holding chamber 8a, while a shaft seal 19 is installed in a part that pivotally supports a rotation shaft 1 of a side plate 7 at the front side. With this constitution, since low pressure oil at the side of a suction chamber 10 is led into the mechanical seal holding chamber 8a, the seal effect of a mechanical seal 9 is in no case killed by high pressure as in the past and also durability of the mechanical seal will not be impaired at all, thus the mechanical seal 9 can be protected from high temperature and high pressure oil. |
