FACSIMILE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an electronic computer and to improve the transmitting efficiency by transmitting a message as it is at the transmitting side and then delivering the message after magnifying it laterally at the receiving side respectively. CONSTITUTION:If the message sent to a facsimile device 5 from an electronic computer 1 is a character data, the computer 1 reads successively the character data to be delivered out of a memory 2. Then the character data are converted into character pattern dots corresponding to a transmission line by a character genertor 3 and transmitted to the device 5 from an interface device 4. A transmission control part 7 of the device 5 actuates a lateral double magnifying part 10 when it discriminates that a character pattern output is designated. Thus a data selector 11 is controlled to switch the character pattern output to the output of the part 10. In such a way, a character pattern sent from the computer 1 as it is can be delivered in the form of a character having an approximately proper longitudinal/lateral ratio.
