PURPOSE:To dispense with a drain oil passage between a high pressure chamber and a valve chest as well as to aim at the miniaturization and compactification of a pump as a whole, by interconnecting the drain oil passage leading out of a rotor rotation shaft to an empty space part between a float control valve chamber and an outer circumferential groove part of a plunger and a reflux port, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A drain oil passage 31 leading out of a rotor rotation shaft 26 is interconnected to an empty space part 38 formed at the outer circumferential groove part between a float control valve chamber 35 and a plunger 36, while the empty space part 38 is interconnected to a reflux port 37. With this constitution, a projecting part, having limited the upper passage of a high pressure chamber 29 so far, can be made smaller or brought into nothing, so that the occurrence of pulsations and noises can be prevented without disturbing a flow of incoming high pressure oil into the valve chamber 35. Also, since the need to pass a drain oil passage through between the high pressure chamber 29 and the float control valve chamber 35 becomes unnecessary, length in the axial direction of a pump is able to make shorter whereby the rotor rotation shaft 26 and a bearing 27 both can be shortened and the miniaturization and compactification of the pump can be promoted as a whole. |
