PURPOSE:To facilitate the measurement of dissolved hydrogen, by a method wherein a predetermined amount of a primary cooling material is supplied to a metering pipe while carrier gas is flowed therethrough by the change-over operation of a valve during measurement and said carrier gas is sent to a detection line. CONSTITUTION:In usual, a primary cooling material is passed through a three- way change-over valve 5a, a sample bypass line (c) and a three-way change-over valve 5b from an introducing line (a) and flowed to a return line (b). On the other hand, carrier gas supplied from a carrier gas line (f) is passed through a gas bypass line (e) and exhausted to a gas outlet 10 from a detection line (q). When a sample is measured, the three-way change-over valves 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b are changed over and the primary cooling material and the carrier gas are supplied to a metering pipe (d). In this case, the primary cooling material in the metering pipe (d) is transferred to the detection line (g) as sample water by the carrier gas and the hydrogen thereof is measured by a detector 9. |
