The automatic locking mechanism consists of two pivoting leaves comprising an electric lock and a roller mounted on e.g the left-hand leaf. A sliding bolt and rocker are mounted on the e.g right-hand leaf, the movement of both leaves is electrically controlled. The right-hand leaf closes first with the left-hand leaf following after an interval of approx. 5 seconds. - When the roller acts on the rocker, the bolt is released and locates into the ground locking the right-hand leaf. The left-hand leaf is then secured to the right-hand leaf by the electric lock. The left-hand leaf is opened first freeing the rocker which allows the bolt to withdraw under the action of a spring. The right-hand leaf is then free to open after an interval of approx. 5 seconds.
