PURPOSE:To enable a simplified construction and light weight by making a part of a seat rotatable, and linking a drive gear connected to an operating member and a tape member engaged with the drive gear to said rotatable member. CONSTITUTION:A seat cushion frame 201 is provided with a stay 209 on its bottom 208 and a bese plate 210 on its top which is pivotably attached to the stay 209. The frame 201 is also provided with a stay 214 to which an operating shaft 215 is rotatably attached. A gear 218 on the operating shaft 215 is engaged with a plastic tape 223 having engagement holes 224 which are spaced with same pitch as the gear 218, and one end of the tape 223 is attached to an attachment section 222 of an opening 221 of the base plate 210. This adjustment device can also be used for head rest, lumber support and the like. |
