PURPOSE:To attain to reduce the thickness and wt. of a watch case and to enhance the water-proofness thereof, by using an adhesive mixture prepared by adding a silicone monomer having active hydrogen to an epoxy adhesive in bonding the middle and the cover glass of watch case parts. CONSTITUTION:The middle 1 and the cover glass 2 containing silicon dioxide of a metal watch case are bonded by using an adhesive mixture 3. This adhesive mixture 3 is one prepared by mixing an epoxy adhesive and a silicone monomer having active hydrogen and, as the silicone monomer having active hydrogen, gamma-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, gamma-[ bis( beta-hydroxyethyl ) ]aminopropylethoxysilane, gamma-( beta-aminoethyl )aminopropyldimethoxyethylsilane, N-( dimethoxymethylsilyl-isobutyl)ethylenediamine and a hydrolysate thereof can be used. |
